In a frying pan add Bengal gram, pigeon pea, cumin seeds coriander seeds and sesame seeds saute till raw smell go away.

Take the roasted mixture in a bowl and leave to sit at room temperature.

Now cut the ivy gourd into 4 pieces.

Add 2 tbsp oil to the frying pan add the ivy gourd and pinch of salt.

Saute them till they half cooked.

Now take a mixer jar add the roasted ingredients and add turmeric, red chilies, salt n garlic cloves and coarsely grind them like in the pic.

Add this mixture into half-cooked ivy gourd n saute them till ivy gourd is well cooked.

Switch off the flame and serve it with hot rice or roti.
