  • Chocolate Chip Cupcakes:
  • 60 gramsButter
  • 70 gramsSugar
  • 1Egg
  • 100 grams● Cake flour
  • 1 tsp● Baking powder
  • 50 gramsMilk
  • 50 gramsChocolate chips
  • Little Ghost:
  • 1Chocolate (or a chocolate decorating pen), as needed
  • 1Heavy cream, as needed

Steps

    Here's how to make a chocolate chip base for these little ghosts (although you can use your favorite recipe for the bottom as well, and see the decorating instructions from Step 9 onwards):

    Prepare the ingredients. Bring butter and egg to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 340°F/170°C.

    Whisk the butter until it reaches a creamy consistency, add the sugar a little at a time, and stir until the mixture becomes whitish.

    Add the egg and whisk well.

    Sift in the ● ingredients and fold in lightly in cutting motion.

    After stirring briefly, add milk and chocolate chips, and stir. Try not to over-mix.

    Use a spoon to fill the cupcake tin, and bake for 25-30 minutes at 340°F/170°C.

    They are done when a skewer inserted into them comes out clean.

    Here's how to make the little ghosts:

    On a sheet of parchment paper, make little dots out of melted chocolate and chill. You can also use a chocolate decorating pen.

    Use a large, round decorating tip to pipe out a swirl with whipped cream.
