Turn Your Cupakes Into Little Ghosts for Halloween

This recipe will show you how to decorate your cupcakes for Halloween. The cupcake base that's used in the top picture is a different kind from the chocolate chip cupcake recipe introduced below, but you can still follow the guidelines from Step 9 onwards to learn how to make cute little ghosts for Halloween.
Don't forget to adjust the amount of baking time to your oven! If the tops look like they're going to burn, cover with aluminium foil. The chocolate chip cupcake recipe here should yield about 6 cupcakes.
The chocolate can melt easily while you're applying the eyes, so chill them on an ice pack, and use tweezers to attach them quickly. Recipe by Mai*Mai.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Here's how to make a chocolate chip base for these little ghosts (although you can use your favorite recipe for the bottom as well, and see the decorating instructions from Step 9 onwards):
- 2
Prepare the ingredients. Bring butter and egg to room temperature. Preheat the oven to 340°F/170°C.
- 3
Whisk the butter until it reaches a creamy consistency, add the sugar a little at a time, and stir until the mixture becomes whitish.
- 4
Add the egg and whisk well.
- 5
Sift in the ● ingredients and fold in lightly in cutting motion.
- 6
After stirring briefly, add milk and chocolate chips, and stir. Try not to over-mix.
- 7
Use a spoon to fill the cupcake tin, and bake for 25-30 minutes at 340°F/170°C.
- 8
They are done when a skewer inserted into them comes out clean.
- 9
Here's how to make the little ghosts:
- 10
On a sheet of parchment paper, make little dots out of melted chocolate and chill. You can also use a chocolate decorating pen.
- 11
Use a large, round decorating tip to pipe out a swirl with whipped cream.
- 12
Add the eyes, and enjoy!

Easy Christmas Cupcake Decorations Easy Christmas Cupcake Decorations
I thought up this idea while making the tree cake from.Wreath decorations are so Christmas-like! The matcha cheese cream is just like the one from the tree cake recipe, so you can make them both at the time time! The instructions here are very similar to what's shown in, but this recipe uses less cream and yields cupcakes that are sweeter and moister. You can use either-or as you like. You can also just decorate store-bought cupcakes. For 10 cupcakes (6 cm [2.4 in] wide x 3 cm tall). Recipe by vegeful cookpad.japan -

Halloween Cookies Halloween Cookies
I drew fun Halloween characters using icing! By using specially shaped cookie cutters you can make even more designs. I hope you'll make a lot of these cookies!Watch the consistency of the icing. For drawing outlines and letters it should be on the stiff side, and to spread out over a large area it should be on the loose side. When thinning out the icing, try adding a drop of lemon juice. For about 20-25 black and white cookies, each one 5 cm [2.0 in] big. Recipe by Choco makaron cookpad.japan -
Frosted Cookies Halloween Ghosts Frosted Cookies Halloween Ghosts
I adapted the cookie recipe from one in a cookbook called "DIA Collection's Frosted Cookie Decoration Recipe." I think that this only needs black icing instead of several colors, which simplifies the recipe. For the icing tip, even a 1mm icing tip may be too wide. It's easier to cut a tip off a plastic icing or piping bag so you can draw a thin line. You can use the cheap ones.Makes 80 cookies.(Recipe by xxsayumixx) cookpad.japan -

Very easy! When you adjust the firmness with heavy cream or milk, add just enough to be able to shape. Then it will have a smooth texture. If it is too hard, the texture will be dry when baked. You can store these in the fridge for up to 3 days. For 50 g each - make 6. Recipe by Choco makaron cookpad.japan -
