Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 2-3carrots, peeled and sliced lengthways using a peeler
  2. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  3. 1-2 tbspolive oil or sunflower oil
  4. Salt to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    To prepare the carrots into strips use a potato peeler to slice the peeled carrots all the way down from tip to bottom.

  2. 2

    In a bowl coat the carrot strips in olive oil and garlic powder then season with salt. Toss together to coat well.

  3. 3

    Preheat air fryer to 170c.

  4. 4

    Add the carrots to the air fryer and air-fry for 6-8 minutes, tossing every two minutes until done. The carrots should be lightly charred but not burnt. They will still be slightly soft but as they cool they will harden and crisp up. I did mine in two batches so as not to overcrowd the air fryer.

    Allow to cool completely before serving.
