Baked Garden Wonton cups are the perfect appetizers to serve for your next Party!!
These delicious little bites are loaded with fresh veggies and cheese..... all in a crispy wonton shell.
The best part is these 2 - 3 bite size appitizers come together quickly. The wonton shells and the vegetables filling can be prepared 3 - 4 hrs before the main event gets started. All you have to do is seal the wonton cups in an air tight container. At the time of service just fill them up, add cheese from top & bake them for 5mins. They are now ready to go!

Assemble all the beautiful ingredients for Baked Garden Wontons.

METHOD FOR GARDEN FILLING
In a pan heat 2tbspn oil. Keep the heat medium- low. Add chopped onions and saute till translucent. - 3
Now add chopped carrot, zucchini and salt. Saute well

Add chopped mushrooms and bell peppers. Cover the lid and let the vegetables cook. After 1minute open the lid.

Increase the heat to dry the excess water released from the veggies. Saute for a bit and then add pepper powder, tomato ketchup and Schezwan Sauce. Mix well

Add spring onion greens. Mix. Keep it aside.

METHOD FOR WONTON CUPS AND BAKING~
In a bowl take maida and water to Knead a soft dough.
Make small size balls, 1" in diameter. - 8
Roll out these balls into disc size 2½" inch in daimeter. Now brush it with oil and place another disc on top of it. Brush oil again and place one more disc.

Now dust some flour and roll out this layered disc into a bigger disc just like a chapati, 5"- 6" in diameter.

Heat a non-stick tawa & put the layered rolled out chapati disc onto the tawa.
Cook slightly from both the sides. Remove from heat and start opening up the layers. Our wonton sheets are ready! - 11
Place these sheets into a greased muffin tray. Bake in a preheated oven for 7-8 minutes or till it gets a golden colour.

Now fill the cups with garden vegetables filling. Top it with some grated cheese. And again bake for 5 to 6 minutes.

Sprinkle mixed herbs. Baked Garden Wontons are ready to be served.
