Steps

Take 2 big banana leaves,and cut them from between and then cut into 4 of each sheet.
Roast the leaves on gas with low flame on both sides so that they don't break while filling the leaves(elai)with adai.
For adai first soak 1 cup rice in water for 1 hour then grind into fine paste batter to draw a dosa type circle on leaves, - 2
On the other hand prepare stuffing with jaggery syrup and grated coconut just like coconut poornam.
Now on each leaf draw the circle like a small dosa. - 3
Then put the stuffing in the centre and cover the leaf from all sides nicely.
Prepare a steamer with boiling water.
Now place all the prepared elaidais in a steamer plate and cover and cook for about 15 to 20 min.
Delicious elai adai is ready to be served after 20 min
