Ingredients

  • 5-6carrots(washed,peeled and chopped)
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 1/2 tspurad dal
  • 3-4green chillies
  • 2-3 sprigscurry leaves
  • 2red dried chillies
  • 1 tspoil(preferably virgin coconut oil)
  • 1/4 tspturmeric (optional)
  • 2 tbspnfresh grated coconut
  • as per tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat a pan,add oil,add mustard seeds,when it splutters,add urad dal,green chillies,red chillies,curry leaves,turmeric.

    Add the chopped carrots,salt & mix well. Cover with a lid for 5-7mins and done.

    Garnish with fresh grated coconut and serve to any meal.
