Steamed and fried Sawaiyyan

Every Saturday, I spend my evening with my mom and dad. It was a long time to have Mumma’s stye of Sawaiyyan. I want to learn too. So I am old her to teach me while making Sawaiyyan for tea time. Thank god, Sawaiyyan was in her pantry at that time.

Steps
- 1
Take 2 cups of sawaiyyan and crushed it with hands. Heat up the pot and pour oil with the whole cardamom. Once Cardamom is started splattering, add Sawaiyyan and start frying.
- 2
In the mean while, take out cardamom seed and put it in the grinder with 1 tbs of sugar and make a powder.
- 3
Once you find, sawaiyyan is fully fried and bhunni howi. Add a pinch of salt and sugar cardamom powder. Salt will enhance the sweetness of the sawaiyyan.
- 4
Put rest of the sugar for sweetness. On the other hand boil water in sauce pan and pour it on fried sawaiyyan. Water shouldn’t be too much. It is just you feel that sawaiyyan is fully soaked in it. Put it on Dum or till the steam comes and water will be dried up fully.
- 5
Dish out in serving dish and decorate with nuts. Serve with a cup of tea at the teatime 🙂
