Salsa
I love tacos or just making my own salsas n hot sauces
Steps
- 1
These can be fresh ingredients or canned but I prefer fresh.
Slice all vegetables in quarters
If you choose to incorporate tomatillos please slightly boil or roast them first by putting a little olive oil over them and putting in the oven on a disposable foil pan - 2
Once you gathered all ingredients you can either chop tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and garlic up and put seasonings and lime juice over it and put in canning jar and voila Pico de Gallo.
For puréed consistency Put all sliced and chopped ingredients in blender except limes
- 3
Seasoning with seasoning salt or mrs dash or natures seasoning a teaspoon should be plenty
- 4
Squeeze limes over mixture with seasonings and purée until desired consistency
- 5
Pour in canning jar or similar container
- 6
Please do a taste test before storing and please keep in mind that it will get spicier and salty as it sets and be mindful of spice and season level.
