Dry roast sesame seeds on low flame till it turns golden brown.Blend to fine powder. Keep it aside.

Now in a blender take boiled chickpea. add in garlic, cumin powder, lemon juice, roasted sesame seeds powder and salt.

Blend to smooth paste adding olive oil.(If mixture seems thick you can add a bit of water or a drizzle of olive oil.) Hummus is ready. Transfer the hummus into bowl and garnish with olive oil and sprinkle chilli powder and add some pomegranate.

Serve hummus with falafel or as a dip to vegetables and bread or pitta bread.
