Pocket pizza toast

They are soo easy and quick to make, taking only 15 mins from start to finish. With a crispy crust outside containing your favourite pizza toppings hidden inside, it’s a perfect meal for anyone who has no time for cooking!
This recipe makes 4 pocket pizza toasts that come in 2 flavours - veggie and meaty.

They are soo easy and quick to make, taking only 15 mins from start to finish. With a crispy crust outside containing your favourite pizza toppings hidden inside, it’s a perfect meal for anyone who has no time for cooking!
This recipe makes 4 pocket pizza toasts that come in 2 flavours - veggie and meaty.

Prepare pizza fillings chopping all ingredients into mini cubes.

For each bread slice, cut out a square inside the bread to make a hole. Set aside.

In a frying pan, heat some oil and stir fry the pizza fillings.

Place the cooked fillings in 2 separate bowls, one for vegetarian version and the other for the meaty version.

Add in 1 egg into each bowl and mix well.

Using the same frying pan, heat some oil and place the bread edges. Fill the hole with pizza filling and egg mixture.

Place a piece of cheese and drizzle ketchup on top, then cover with the square bread.

Press the bread gently to “close” the pocket. Remove the bread from the pan then add in 7-8g butter.

Flip the bread as you place it back to the pan. Cook for 1 min until the other side is cooked to crispy golden brown.

Flip again then set aside.

Repeat for the other bread toasts.

Serve them on a plate and cut in the middle to enjoy the ooey-gooey cheesy fillings!
