A simple Flat Beans or Saim ki Phalli fry as it's called in Urdu, that's easy and yummy as well. Done in practically no time at all, this one is a sure shot hit with my family and friends.
Tastes equally great with both Rice and Rotis. And if eaten with Rice, Daal or any flavoured Rasam will do the trick.
Made with simple ingredients, it's a delicious fry. Though I have used Ghee for this lovely dish, you can very well go with the usual cooking Oil that you use.
That's it. Nothing much to pen about this simple yet a mouthwatering dish. I have used Ghee for a lovely taste and texture. You can use both Oil and Ghee in equal quantities if desired. It's a great one for everyday meals as well as perfect for yummy Tiffin box or Lunchbox too. And it goes very well with simple homemade Rotis or Chapatis and even Phulkas. Kids will love it's crunch. All in all a lovely Vegetable for everyday cooking.

Steps
- 1
In a pan, heat ghee and add the ginger garlic paste, green chillies and all the other spices. Saute well for a minute. Then add the finely chopped onion. Let it become a bit translucent and light pinkish in colour. Now it's time to add the chopped Flat Beans.
- 2
Cover and cook just for about 3 to 4 minutes on a low flame. After that, open the lid and stir fry them on a medium flame by stirring continuously. Or if using a non-stick kadai, do it at regular intervals.
- 3
Do not add water. As the beans are thinly chopped, they get perfectly roasted in no time. Squeeze some Lemon juice for the tanginess after done if desired. Enjoy! Yum!
