In this innovative Chocolate Bark that I am sharing here, I have used different Seeds along with a few candied Fruit as well.

Chocolate Bark is actually a sheet of Chocolate that is usually covered with Nuts, Dry Fruits, Seeds, Candies, Flakes, Oats, Muesli, etc.
You name it, you got it. That's the beauty of this beautiful Bark. Literally speaking it translates to the craggy surface like that of the bark of a tree. After done, it exactly looks like a bark of a tree and has to be cut or just broken into pieces of unequal sizes. It need not be neatly cut or in perfect shape. That's how a bark usually is.
The best part is that it is loved by all. There are a few do's and don'ts to follow in any Chocolate Bark recipe. Firstly never use a fully sweet Milk Chocolate for this. Use only Dark Chocolate with almost 50% Cocoa. Secondly never add Sugar to it, not even in the least quantities.
And the most important thing, don't hurry up while melting it. Let it melt at its pace. Otherwise, it won't set properly. And also the last one to keep in mind is not to add too many things to one Bark. Make different Barks of different types so that everyone's craving for gorgeous-looking Chocolate Bark is satisfied.

Enjoy Cooking with Zeen!

Steps

15-18 minutes
  1. 1

The best way to melt a Chocolate is in Microwave. Simultaneously dry roast all the Seeds except for the Tutti Fruiti.

  2. 2

Add the roasted Seeds to the melted chocolate and mix well. Reserve some for the final topping to be done later.

  3. 3

Spread it on Butter paper or an Aluminium foil. Top it up with the remaining reserved Seeds. Press a little with a rolling pin. That's it. Leave it on the counter if not in a hurry for a few hours. And if in a hurry and want it to be done soon, refrigerate it well covered for a few minutes.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
