Heat a pan and then add fine rava to it. Keep the flame on low while roasting rava.
Stir often when the rava is being roasted.then remove the roasted rava in a plate. Keep aside. - 2
In the same pan add oil and ghee. Once oil and ghee becomes hot add onion sauté till the onions turn translucent.Then add green chilli and tomato, curry leaves, coriander leaves, stir and sauté well. Then add ginger garlic paste mix again and sauté for 3to 4 minutes on low flame.

Then add turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder and sauté for few minutes. Next add carrot and beans, then pour 2 cups water.Add salt as per taste.

Increase the flame and let the water come to a rolling boil. Once the water comes to a boil the reduce the flame.add the rava in parts. Mix it well. So that lumps are not formed.

Add another batch of rava mix again. Cover the pan with a lid and on low flame steam for about 2to3 minutes. Once done remove the lid.Then add roasted cashew nuts and chopped coriander leaves mix well.

Serve the rava kichadi hot with chutney or sambar
