Moong Dal Chakli

Wash moong dal add 1 cup water in a presser cooker and cook completely then remove to plate add in mixi jar make paste keep aside

Take a muslin cloth /cotton cloth put the whole wheat flour tie it place it in a presser cooker vessel and steam (dry) for 4-5 whistles. As steam escapes open the lid take out flour from the bundle it should be in cake form crush it and sieve it.

Take a big mixing bowl add whole wheat flour add all dry spices powder mix all well add sesame seeds add cumin seeds mix all well together

Now add cooked moong dal paste and mix well to make a stiff dough. Keep aside. Take a chakli maker mould grease with oil stuff enough dough into the chakli maker roll with the handle move into circular motion keep on packmate paper make all.

Heat up oil in a pan once heated on medium flame drop chakli carefully or with help of a sorted spoon drop do not make crowd deep fry till golden in colur and crispy removed from oil drain excess oil and transfer to a kitchen towel.

Store them in an airtight container.
