Steps
- 1
Soak the walnuts in clean drinking water for a good four hours at least. Grind to a smooth paste later.
- 2
Next heat ghee on a low flame. Add this paste to it. Cook until the raw smell nearly fades away. The paste that's cooking splashes a lot, so be careful about that. Do it on a low flame as it takes a bit more of your time. Keep stirring at regular intervals intervals.
- 3
Also stir in cardamom and jaggery both. Continue cooking on a low to medium high heat. Keep stirring at regular intervals. Take care while doing so as it splashes a lot. Do not hurry about it. It takes some time.
- 4
Add more ghee as it starts reducing and coming up together like a mass. After it starts to leave the sides of the pan, it means that it's done.
- 5
Shape into laddus of your preferable size. Serve with a warm glass of milk at breakfast every day. Or just relish it as a healthy snack at any time.
- 6
Enjoy these super tempting and healthy laddus with your loved ones. These are worth every effort that has been put in.
