Super Easy but Delicious Soup with Bouillon

This is a super easy, super convenient, yet delicious soup that I've been making for ages. I'm almost embarrassed to share this recipe (sweat). It's perfect for when you're short on time or have unexpected guests. You can whip it up quickly.
The origin of this recipe
I feel like I've been making this for about 20 years. It's my go-to when I'm in a pinch or can't decide on a soup (laugh).

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the bacon into 1/2-inch wide strips. Thinly slice the onion.
- 2
Add water and bouillon cubes to a pot and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the bacon and onion, and simmer over medium heat until the onion is tender.
- 3
Once the onion is tender, beat the eggs well and pour them into the pot. Serve in bowls, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and parsley, and it's ready. So easy!
- 4
I tried mixing the eggs with cod roe and adding it. With the onion, it's also delicious!

Fluffy Egg-Drop Soup with Boiled Chicken Broth Fluffy Egg-Drop Soup with Boiled Chicken Broth
This was an egg-drop soup that I made as baby food for my children, but they still love it even now that they are grown-ups. When I don't have cooking liquid from boiling chicken, I use Chinese chicken stock granules. Making the eggs fluffy is key to the delicious taste of this soup! The katakuriko slurry can be made by dissolving the katakuriko in twice the amount of water - water (2 tablespoons) + katakuriko (1 tablespoon). Add it gradually and slowly while stirring the soup (do not add it all at once) until reaching your preferred thickness. You don't need to use the whole amount. Add the eggs after the soup has thickened. Recipe by Heartful Kitchen Rei cookpad.japan -
