Ingredients

30 minutes

  1. 1/2 tspKashmiri green tea leaves
  2. 1/8 tspbaking soda
  3. 1 tspsugar
  4. 1/8 tspsalt
  5. 2 tbspmilk
  6. 2pistachio slivers for garnish
  7. 1 cupwater + 2 cups water

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Boil 1 cup water in a sauce pan.

    Once heated add the green tea leaves along with baking soda and let it simmer till the water evaporates.

    Pour again 2 cups of water.Add the sugar and salt. Let it simmer till the tea turns dark reddish in colour.

    Now strain and transfer the tea to a cup.

    Now add the milk to the cup and mix well.

    Garnish with pistachio slivers and serve.
