Ingredients

  • 2 cupscanned or cooked tuna (well drained and flaked)
  • 1 1/2 cupsfreshly grated coconut
  • 1medium red onion, very finely chopped
  • 2–3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • Juice of 1–2 limes
  • Salt to taste
  • 8–10 pieces roshi (Maldivian flatbread) or chapati, for serving

    In a large bowl, combine the flaked tuna and grated coconut.

    Add chopped onion and green chilies; mix well.

  3. 3

    Season with salt and fresh lime juice.

  4. 4

    Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.

  5. 5

    Serve immediately with roshi or flatbread.

Tips

Finely chop the onion and chili to ensure balanced flavor in every bite without overpowering the tuna and coconut.
