Ingredients

35 minutes
  • 1 1/2 cupsquick-cooking lentils (about 300 grams)
  • 3sausages (such as chorizo)
  • 1carrot
  • 1potato
  • 1large onion
  • 1/2red bell pepper
  • 1vegetable bouillon cube
  • 1 cuptomato puree
  • 1little oregano, parsley, and black pepper

Steps

35 minutes
  1. 1

    Brown the sausages.

  2. 2

    Sauté the chopped onion and bell pepper.

  3. 3

    Add one cup of tomato puree and season with oregano, parsley, and black pepper. Cook for about two minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the cleaned lentils, and the potato and carrot, both cut into pieces.

  5. 5

    Cover with water and add 1 vegetable bouillon cube (optional). If not using, just add salt.

    Cook for about 30 minutes, and it's ready!
