Grate cucumber and carrot.Chop green chilli. Chop coriander leaves.

In a mixing bowl add soaked and drained moong dal.Add coconut, grated carrots, cucumber, salt, sugar, lime juice, coriander leaves and mix well.

Heat a tadka pan add oil and mustard seeds.Allow to crackle.Add pinch of asafoetida.Pour this tadka to kosambari and serve immediately.. This can eat in lunch or breakfast too.Very healthy recipe for all age groups.

I made this for lunch but due to work load missed all photos.
