Spread the sugar evenly on a pan.

Keep the flame medium and wait for the sugar to melt

As soon as the sugar turns golden turn the flame down and stir the syrup till it turns brownish
Be SUUUPEERRR CAREFUL or the sugar is gonna burn. - 4
Add salt and butter and mix

Add cream and mix until everything is well dissolved

Take the pan off of the burner and pour the batter into the greased mould; alternatively, you could wait for the temperature to drop and shape the toffees however you like.

Refrigerate them for about 15 minutes.

You can store them in the refrigerator for upto 7 days in an airtight container
Tips
When the sugar is melting, keep the flame medium to low, and once it turns into a syrup, keep it on low.
