Ingredients

  • 10ladies fingers okra / -
  • 1/2 cuponion chopped -
  • 3green chillies -
  • 1 cupchana cooked kala -
  • 1/2 tspmustard seeds -
  • 1/2 tspginger garlic paste -
  • 1/2 tspsalt -
  • 1 tsppepper -
  • 1/2 tspchilly powder -
  • 1 tspgaram masala -
  • 1/2 tspturmeric -
  • 1 tbspcoconut oil -

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the chana in a pressure cooker with a pinch of salt and turmeric.

  2. 2

    Cut the ladies fingers into thin slices.

  3. 3

    In a nonstick pan,heat some oil and pop the mustard seeds.

  4. 4

    Put ginger garlic paste,green chilies and onion.Add turmeric and some salt.

  5. 5

    Add the lady finger slices and saute well until cooked(for about 10 mins).

  6. 6

    Add chilly powder,pepper and garam masala and stir well.

  7. 7

    Now mix the cooked kala chana into this and stir fry till well combined.

  8. 8

    Serve along with rice or roti.
