  • 1chilly ... . Green [ Finely chopped
  • 1 Tbspoil ....
  • 1 Tspjeera Cumin [ ...
  • 1/4 Tspturmeric .. .
  • Salt .
  • 1 TspChilly Red Powder ... .
  • 1/2 TspDhaniya Powder ... .
  • 3 TbspsCurd ... .
  • 2 TspsBesan gram flour / ... .
  • 1 - 1/2 Tspsjaggery ... .

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the okra. Wipe it and let it dry completely before use.

  2. 2

    Cut it in the shape you like. [I cut it in small pieces.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a wok on high flame. Once it smokes reduce the heat to minimum.

  4. 4

    Put the okra, green chilly and jeera, stir it a bit. Cover with a lid and let it cook until it changes color to dark brown.

  5. 5

    Srit ocassionally.

  6. 6

    Once it is almost done, add the salt, turmeric, chilly powder, dhaniya powder. Stir them together.

  7. 7

    Cover and cook for a few more min.

  8. 8

    In a bowl mix besan, jaggery and curd.

  9. 9

    Add this to the okra.

  10. 10

    Serve with Bhakri/chapati/paratha.
