Ingredients

  2. 10 mediumsized baking potatoes
  3. 2 tbspOlive oil
  4. 1Salt
  5. 1Pepper
  6. 20Sliced bacon
  7. 20Sliced Cheese
  8. For Presley or Chive dip
  9. 250 gramsCream Cheese
  10. 1 2/3 cupSour cream
  11. 1/2 tbspVegetable broth (stock) granules
  12. 1Salt
  13. 1White pepper
  14. 1 tbsp2-4 tablespoon fresh parsley or chives, chopped

    Preheat the at 200 C.

  2. 2

    Wash the potatoes well, and then cut half lengthways.

  3. 3

    Brush a roasting pan with olive oil and place the potatoes, cut side downwards.

  4. 4

    Bake for 25 minutes.

  5. 5

    In the meantime, mix together all the ingredients for the cheese dip, reserving 1 tablespoon chopped chives or parsley for garnish. Then spoon into a bowl and garnish with parsley or chives.

  6. 6

    When potatoes are cooked, remove from the oven. Heat the broiler (grill) to 250C.

  7. 7

    Carefully take the potatoes off the roasting pan and season the flat side with salt and pepper. Place the bacon on top of tge potatoes and cover with the cheese. Place under boiler until golden brown. Serve potatoes on a plate, together with the cheese dip.
