Ingredients

  1. cookies
  2. 1 boxbetty crocker gingerbread
  3. 2 tbspsugar
  4. 2 tbspbaking cocoa
  5. 1/4 cuphot water
  6. 2 tbspmelted butter or margerine
  7. filling
  8. 2 cuppowdered sugar
  9. 1/2 sticksoftened butter
  10. 1 tspvanilla
  11. 1 1/2 tbspmilk

    Preheat to 350°F

  2. 2

    In a big bowl, mix gingerbread, water, melted butter and cocoa

  3. 3

    Put sugar in a small bowl. Roll into 30 1" balls and roll in loose sugar. Set evenly spaced on an ungreased cookie sheet

  4. 4

    Flatten slightly and to uniformish sizes with the bottom of a juice glass

  5. 5

    Bake 6-9 minutes. Cool at least a minute on the pan before moving to a rack.

  6. 6

    While the cookies cool (at LEAST 20 minutes), make filling. Just mix everything and add milk in verrrrry gently. Like, 1/2 a tbsp at a time until you get the consistency you desire. Make sure its thick enough to spread and hold cookies together. You may not even use all the milk

  7. 7

    Spread some filling on a cookie and sandwich with another close to its size.

    These are gut bombs but life is short so eat like 2
