Ingredients

14 servings
  1. 1 poundshrimp, peeled and deveined
  2. 1 1/3 cupsgluten free flour
  3. 1 tablespoononion powder
  4. 1 tablespoongarlic powder
  5. 2 tablespoonssea salt
  6. 2 tablespoonsblack pepper
  7. 2 tablespoonswhite pepper
  8. 2 teaspoonscayenne pepper
  9. 2 teaspoonspaprika
  10. 2 teaspoonsoregano
  11. 2 teaspoonsthyme
  12. 6egg whites but I used vegan eggs
  13. Vegetable oil for frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift together all of your dry ingredients in a large bowl. In another bowl, whisk together your vegan eggs.

  2. 2

    Heat about 1-2 inches of oil in a frying pan to 350 degrees.

  3. 3

    Dip each shrimp in the egg, then coat in the gluten free flour mixture.

  4. 4

    Fry the shrimp in small batches for 20-25 minutes each.

  5. 5

    Once the shrimp are a dark golden brown, transfer to a paper towel covered plate and allow to cool.
