Tomato carrot rice

Firstly wash and soak basmati rice for 1 hour.

Now finely chop onion and tomato and grate the carrot keep aside. And slit green chilli.

Now heat a pan and add ghee, cumin seeds, whole spices, bay leaf, dry chilli and crakle them. Then add chopped onion and saute for 1-2 minutes, then add chopped tomato and cook it until soft.

Now add grated carrot and saute 1 minutes, then add soaked rice and saute 1-2minute more. Then add water and salt to taste and cover them. Cook for 10 minutes.

Now tomato carrot rice is ready.
