I did this cake for a client and I decided to try on stripped cream frosting for the first time and I love the result....
Steps

Heat oven 180 degrees

Grease and dust baking tin(s)

Whisk sugar and margarine to pale and fluffy

Add in eggs one by one as you whisk then finally add in vanilla essence. Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and unsweetened cocoa then fold into the egg solution in portions as you alternate with milk until the flour is fully mixed in to gain a dropping batter consistency. Remember, do not over mix the batter.

Pour into the baking tin and bake for 45-50 minutes. When ready remove from oven and let it cool for a while before frosting. Now you can frosting.....
