Ingredients

  • 3-4lemons
  • Coconut oil
  • Peeler or grater

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash your lemons clean and pat dry with a clean kitchen cloth, using a grater grate the zest leaving the white part or use a peeler to cut the peel making sure not to peel the white bitter part.

    Place the lemon peels/zest in a non stick pot and pour enough coconut oil to cover the peels.Turn the heat at low and simmer for about 10 mins.

  3. 3

    When cool pour in a jar with the lemon peels cover and keep for a day or two to infuse.strain in a clean jar or bottle.you can add to your salad dressing,add a few drops to your washing up liquid,or a few drops to your humidifier for that lemony scent.
