Ingredients

  • 1. Potato - 2 peeled and cubed
  • 2. Capsicum - 1 cut into pieces (Any Colour)
  • 3. Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • 4. Pepper powder - 1 tsp crushed
  • 5. Garam madala - 1/2 tsp
  • 6. Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
  • 7. Cardamom - 1
  • 8. Clove - 1
  • 9. Salt water - 5 tbsp (Mix needed salt in water and keep it)
  • 10. Oil - 2 tbsp

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in kadai add cumin seeds, cinnamon, cardamom, clove. Once cumin seeds done add cubed potatoes. Sprinkle little water close with lid and cook for 1 minute. Do this in medium flame.

    Sprinkle water every 1 to 2 minutes, close and cook. Serve 1 tbsp of water for capsicum. Once potato 75% done add cubed capsicum.

  3. 3

    Sprinkle remaining water and cook in low flame. Be careful don't over cook the potato. Whenever need water add. Don't overdose it

  4. 4

    Add crushed pepper and pinch of garam masala. Roast until potato turns very crispy. Serve hot with rice dishes or roti.
