flat pita bread • olive oil (flavored is nice) • spread of some kind (ex. pesto, mayo and mustard, chutney, cheese-based spread) • meat (grilled chicken, sandwich meat, etc.) • cheese (feta, pepper jack, sliced of any variety) • red or yellow pepper (chopped--can be sauteed in oil with onions first) • be creative (mushrooms, other veggies, olives, tomatoes, onions)
