
I am a native New Yorker and as such , I consider myself (at least from a culinary stand point) a global trekker. It was from my grandmother that I first discovered the power of food. "If you cook they will come". So from the time I could reach the the top of the kitchen counter , my grandmother and I have been cooking together. It has always been the way I connect with people. Not that I was always great at it, but I was never intimidated by the cooking process.
