
I liked this dish. it is tasty. I did not mind the nutty flavor at all. Since I am an absent minded cook, I forgot to buy the right bean and substituted Garbanzo beans. It tastes great. make sure you have enough time to cook this dish. Farro takes a long time to absorb the water. Thank you for the recipie.

Garbanzo beans sound great! I will try. I still have half a bag of faro to use. I was going to do some preserved lemons, they are literally falling off my tree. expect an authentic recipe soon! Thank you for trying an old world food. So easily forgotten in our fast paced life!
