Hi Joy! I tried your recipe. Unfortunately , I think I failed.. they didn't make a form like you did. I don't know why I failed.. or is moi moi supposed to taste like soft porridge? I have never tasted moi moi, so I don't know what this is supposed to be.

Oh I forgot to add, but every single step was something I have never tried, so I really enjoyed even though I failed😅 Thank you joy.

Hello Harune, can you share the recipe you used so we can assist from there?

Harune H @cook_7533142
Nike A, thanks for kind help! I tried Joy's moi moi recipe and I think I just make a mistake when I use plastic bags..! Would you mind sharing your favorite recipes too? I would love to try out more of recipes from Cookpad and you guys :D !

you can always use very light plastic bag for moi moi and it comes out nice. what kind of beans did you use?

Harune H @cook_7533142
Thanks for reply. I used canned kidney beans and I used thick plastic bags. Canned kidney beans were difficult to get rid of skins... probably that's the cause ..?

Harune, it’s about the beans we use here in Japan. They are very different. It took me several tries before I had correct moi moi

Hi, Blanka-san :D Thank you for comment! 😍 Oh that's really surprising that even you had to try several times to make moi moi in Japan. If I successfully nail it, then I'll definitely keep recipe as Japan version then 😎 I'm so glad to hear from you, you really motivate me to try again <3

Definitely, Blanka-san! we can do it before christmas or beginning of next year :))
