
Good flavor, and I love that I learned shoyu is soy sauce. I used a New York strip and asked the butcher to slice it thin for me. My boyfriend said he thinks beef prepared like this could be used to make a really good sandwich.

Yay! Glad that you like it. We never have leftovers for sandwich, but next time we'll definitely use this for sandwich. We use three types of soy sauce--shoyu, salty soy sauce (the Chinese version), and sweet soy sauce (thicker and like the name suggests, sweeter). :) You can also use sweet soy sauce, but you might want to reduce the honey.
