Living the Alaskan dream aboard a sailboat in Juneau. Also build sets for the local theater and artistic community. Avid wood worker, remodeling interior of sailboat, built two wooden kayaks. You could say I have begun to have a boat problem. Lol. Everything I post on here will have come out of our galley consisting of a toaster oven, hot plate, propane grill or the Dickinson diesel stove/oven depending on whether we are in port hooked up to power. Should be fun to see what we can create in a limited space!

this is yummy dish. I cooked a vegetarian version with black beans, cheese, onions, and peppers. It was. delicious. If you dont have the ability to deep fry them then it is best to just use enough oil to cover the bottom of frying pan, smash the balls into little pucks and pan fry. I found that if not completely submerged in oil when deep frying when you try to flip them they fall apart. so I removed most of the oil and pan fried with much success. I live on a boat and deep frying is not advised. waves and boiling oil, hmmmm. ;-)
