Bahan-bahan

  1. 2large eggs(i use 3 medium eggs)
  2. 1 cupgranulated sugar
  3. 1 cupsour cream (i use 1/2 cup butter milk)
  4. 1/2 cuplight olive oil or vegetable oil
  5. 1 tspvanilla extract
  6. 2 cupsall-purpose flour (*measured correctly)
  7. 2 tspbaking powder
  8. 1/4 tspsalt
  9. 12 ozstrawberries,hulled
  10. 1 tsppowdered sugar to dust the top (optional)
  11. Strawberry sauce ingredients :
  12. 16 ozstrawberries hulled and halved
  13. 1/4 cupgranulated sugar

Cara Membuat

    Butter a 9-inch and line the bottom with parchment paper (baking paper) preheat oven to 170° c

    Prepare 12 oz of strawberries for the cake :dice 6 oz of strawberries and slice the second 6 oz into halves

    In a large mixing bowl using electric mixer,beat together the eggs with 1 cup of sugar in a high speed for 5 minutes or until ligh in color and thick

    Add 1 cup sour cream,1/2 cup oil,1tsp vanilla and beaton low speed untill well combined

    In a smll bowl whisk together 2 cuos flour,2 tsp baking powder,and 1/4 salt untill well incorporated.. With the mixer in low speed add flour mixture to the batter 1/3 at a time,letting the flour incorporate with each addition and continue mixing just untill well combined

    Poue half of batter into preparef pan,top with 6 oz diced strawberries then spread remaining batter over the top. Coberthe surface with 6 oz of halved strawberries,cut side down.. Pressing them down just slightly into the batter..

    Bake at 170°c for 40 - 45 minutes (depend your oven) or untill toothpick inserted into centre comes out clean without wet cake batter..

    Let cake rest in pan 15 - 20 minutes then remove and cool to room temperature or untill just lightly warm

    While the cace is baking,make the strawberry sauce : in a blender combine 16 oz strawberries and 1/4 sugar and blen until pureed.

    Allow cake to rest in the pan for 15 - 20 minutes than run a thin spatula around edges to loosen from pan. Cool untill just warm or room temperature.. To serve dust with powdered sugar if desired drizzle individual slices generously with strawberry syirup..

    Recipe notes.. To measure flour correctly : spoon flour into a dry ingredients measuring cup and scrape off the top with a straight edge..

    I am not using the strawberry sauce / syrup..
