My method cooking is usually inspired by my background. Having an Igala Dad and an Ijaw mum helps me modify cooking methods to suit my taste.

Nigerian native jollof is one of the less talked about rice dishes but the dish is absolutely delicious. It is easy to prepare and the full-on flavours of smoky palm-oil with fermented locust beans which always seem to work is so good that everyone comes back for seconds.

So yesterday I went to market to get garri and my eyes caught these tiny fishes and I flashed back to when I was in Niger state and how yummy and delicious the fish was then.. I quickly bought some and use them to make this delicious jollof rice 😋😋😋😋for the house

Ok guys I have been down with malaria and craving so much for a locally made rice so hubby prepared this vegetable red oil for us and it was yummy. Cooked with smoked fish,locust beans and lots of crayfish and fresh pepper.
