  1. 2 cupflattened rice(poha)
  2. 1chopped onions
  3. 2chopped green chillies
  4. 1 tsplemon juice
  5. 1 tsprai/mustard seeds
  6. 5-6Curry leaves
  7. 1/2 cupPeanuts
  8. 1small chopped & fried potato
  9. 1/2 cupboiled peas
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 2 tbspoil
  12. 1boiled and chopped carrot
  13. 1 tsphaldi/ Turmeric powder
  14. 1/4 tspsugar

Cooking Instructions

    Rinse the poha in the water till they soften

  2. 2

    Drain the water and leave it on a paper on sieve

  3. 3

    Add sugar salt and turmeric powder on the poha and mix it well

  4. 4

    Roast the peanuts in the pan till they become crunchy

  5. 5

    Heat oil in the same pan and crackle Rai then add onions Saute until they become translucent

  6. 6

    Add curry leaves and all the vegetables along with the masala & roasted peanuts and poha stir carefully

  7. 7

    Cover & steam the poha for 2-3 minutes on low flame.

    Now open and give a stir and Sprinkle lemon juice on it

  9. 9

    Now give a gentle stir your kanda poha is ready to serve
