Ingredients

  1. 1/2 tbspghee/ oil
  2. 1/2 tspmustard seeds
  3. 2green chilies
  4. 1medium sized onion (finely chopped)
  5. 1 tbspfinely chopped beans
  6. 1 tbspdiced potatoes (optional)
  7. 1 tbspfinely chopped carrots
  8. 2 tsplemon juice (amchur powder)
  9. 1 tspsugar
  10. 1/2 tspblack salt
  11. to tasteSalt
  12. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  13. For pressure cook
  14. 1/2 cupdaliya
  15. 1/2 tbspghee
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 1 cupwater

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a pressure cooker heat ghee and roast daliya on high flame until charges it's colour. When it's get golden brown colour add water in it and take a whistle on high flame. Turn off the gas and keep aside.

    In a pan heat ghee add mustard seeds, saute for a minute. Add turmeric powder, salt and onion. Saute till onion gets translucent. Now add all vegetables and cook on medium flame until cooked completely.

    When vegetables cooked completely add cooked daliya in it and mix well. Add sugar and lemon juice in it and cover it for a while. Stir well occasionally. Delicious daliya is ready to serve. Serve hot.
