Ingredients

10-15 minutes
250 gms
  1. 250 gmsSmall Onions
  2. 2 CupsWhite Vinegar
  3. 1Bay Leaf
  4. 3 slicesGinger
  5. 1Small Beetroot Sliced (I took quarter of a medium size)
  6. 2 TbspsSugar
  7. 1/4 tspSalt

Cooking Instructions

10-15 minutes
  1. 1

    First pour Vinegar in a pan, add beetroot slices, bay leaves and ginger slices and let it come to boil. Once it starts boiling add salt and sugar and mix well so that sugar melts, put off the flame and add peeled and washed (pat dry the onions before adding) onions to it mix and let it cool. You can either cool and put in a clean sterlised glass jar or put it in the glass jar and let it cool, either way work. Let it rest for 2-3 days for flavours to infuse. Serve with various dishes!
