This is my 3rd or 4th time making this. I've started using different fruit in the mix as it's quite a good way to use up fruit that's not getting eaten.
Lovely with custard.I actually add double or triple the fruit and I've decided to reduce the sugar as it's a bit sweet for me.
Otherwise I love this recipe!
So easy and non - fussy

I love that you go back to this recipe again and again and try it a little different every time - wonderful. Especially using up fruit that would otherwise be wasted. What type if fruit did you try this time?

@EmmaJaneRichards thank you.
With this one, I added plums, apricots and apples and a few blueberries. Very tasty.
I love crumbles, but hate getting my hands dirty whilst making it.
This recipe suits me just fine!
Simple mixing of a few wet and dry ingredients.
No complicated gadgets or stages needed.

sounds perfect for you. I love apricots and I never think to use them in crumbles or cake - this has inspired me to try them next time i bake.
