I ran out of butter and my taste buds were craving for cakes,then this cake came to mind. I looked it up and gave it a shot, viola...I made it. So if you find yourself in this situation then this is the way to go, all you need is flour,eggs and sugar. I think it's a healthy cake for those on diet or trying to shed some weight, it got less fat.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 4egg whites
  2. 4egg yolks
  3. 3/4sugar
  4. 100 gAPflour
  5. 1/2 tspnutmeg
  6. I/2 tsp vanilla extract

Cooking Instructions

    Whisk the egg whites and gradually

    Add in the sugar while whisking until you obtain a white fluffy creamy texture(an ice cream texture is what you get).

    At this point you can add in the vanilla extract (N:B any flavour of your choice) and whisk some more.

    Don't overwork the batter

    Pour into a greased pan

    Bake in a preheated oven for 15-20mins

    Fold in the egg yolks in the whisked egg whites.

  8. 8

    Fold in the flour and nutmeg into the creamy mixture.
