Ingredients

2 dozen
  1. 1 1/4 cupatta/ all-purpose flour
  2. 1 teaspoonbaking powder
  3. 1/2 cuppowdered sugar
  4. 1/2 cupcold butter
  5. 5 tablespoonsmilk

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat the oven at 180°C.

    Prepare your baking tray by greasing it or lining with parchment paper.

    In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and powdered sugar.

    Add cold butter and mix until you get a sandy like texture.

    Add milk and mix to form a soft and smooth dough.

    Roll the dough on your working surface to about 1cm thick and cut into round shape using a cookie cutter, and place them on your baking tray. (You can place your dough in between two parchment paper and roll it).

    Using a toothpick, poke holes on the biscuits and bake at 180°C for 10 – 15 minutes or until nicely brown.

    Let the biscuits rest for a few minutes on the baking tray. Remove them and place them on a cooling rack.

    Serve with a glass of milk or a cup of tea.
