Cooking Instructions

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, coat them in flour, dip in beaten egg, and fry. Place them in a baking dish as they brown.

Remove excess oil and make a sauté with garlic, onion, and carrot, adding a touch of sea salt. Meanwhile, bake the chops for 20 minutes at 400°F (200°C). They may be done sooner if they are very thin, so be careful. Mine were quite thick.

When the vegetables soften, add sliced mushrooms and season with salt and pepper.

Turn the heat to high and pour in the wine, making sure it doesn't burn. Wait a couple of minutes for the alcohol to evaporate. Then add the peas, a splash of water, and let them cook.

Finally, pour everything over the pork chops and it's ready.

Don't know where this recipe originated but my mother made this all the time when I was little. My kids swarmed to the table when we made this.
