Patakha chicken is famous street food in Nathia Gali ( Muree ) Pakistan . This is a kind of fried chicken which is spicy and crispy served with red chilli flakes. It's easy , it is fast , it's taste yummy 😋.

Cooking Instructions

Take whole chicken and cut from the center of chicken breast and make it butterfly shape.

Now mark cuts in different angles.

Apply the prepared patakha chicken masala on the whole chicken.

Spread the masala both sides. Chicken ka achay sy massage kary 😁😜

Cover with cling film and keep in fridge for overnight or at least 4 hours.

Heat oil in a karahi. Lower the heat to medium flame and place the marinated chicken in the oil. The level of oil should be such that half of the chicken is dip in the oil. Do not cover while frying.

Fry over medium heat for 15 minutes. Flip the side and let the other side cook for 15 minutes. Take it out, strain the oil and strain out left over chilli flakes rich with chicken flavour in the oil and serve with the chicken.

Serve hot with naan,raita and you have a great lunch or dinner.
