this is a great biscuit recipe! I didn't use all the sugar...I just did barely a sprinkle. I did 6tbls of cold butter. I mixed it in my food processor and I brushed it with buttermilk before baking...and I also formed the dough into a square or rectangle and cut it into 9 biscuits and placed them close together to keep the edges nice and soft. :)

Aahaha that's awesome ... me not so much...it's dark now since I'm old...Aahaha ... but other than straightening it or wearing it curly...that's about it!
But yours is great! :)

Aahaha nice!! That's a good one! Mine shows my age...esp the grey at the temples :-[ but oh well Aahaha they're earned! Aahaha! I think I took my pic down...I'll put another up...you'll see the age...Aahaha!

My grandmother used to say my face may tell my age but my hair never will lol

Oh yea...the oven or stove top also works great...but I'd never use a pressure cooker, I flagged that review. I knew I had seen to do it in a Crockpot somewhere but not being positive I didn't wanna mess with it just in case ya know...so I was happy to see your recipe ... made a yummy cheesecake with it!! Family says thanks also...although my Hubby and son are kinda freaked out by how that works...they are like "that just seems wrong somehow ... to cook milk in a can and get caramel!?!?" Aahaha! Funny boys!

Thanks angie!! :flower oh and thanks for posting the Crockpot method for the caramel...it was awesome!

Ur welcome. I learned it from my grandma! I was talking to some people who had never heard of it. So I thought I would share and pass on the legend. Lol but the one who reveiwed , use a pressure cooker is very wrong! Lol its a sealed can! Lol

Dolphinchick that's funny! My kids were the same way. Lol and ur pic is so much nicer than mine. I voted for u in the Cook off! Nice job. My crock pot must cook at a lower temp then urs because my pic was after 9 hours also!

You can call me Jade ;)
Yea...my crazy Crockpot must cook waaaaay hotter...I cook on low all the time bit you'd swear the sucker was on high! It boils away like nobodies business and steam I guess builds up and makes the lid bounce around and water spews all over the counter...I know I know I should get a new one...not there's always something else we need the money for esp when it's not a necessity! One day! ;) next time I'll just know to do it for waaaaay less time in mine I guess ... but once I stirred it up it was really nice!! So good! I'll make a bunch next time!! ;) my boys are goofy like that! When I showed my son and told him taste it for the first time directly from the can (cuz he hadn't believed me before) you would've thought I was trying to poison him!! Aahaha! Until he did it...it's something about milk turning brown that has him thinking it's strange...I told him that when I make real caramel from sugar I add cream after browning the sugar so it's basically the same thing...Aahaha! Oh well...they still love it! ;) thanks again!

Lmao! My daughter made gagging noises and refused. But I tricked her and put it on some ice cream and all of a sudden it was good! Lol! My pot is a cheepy from Walmart and couldn't boil anything lol
dolphinchick @cook_3267779
Aahaha! Too funny!! Yea...Kyle made a similar face when I told him to taste it from the can...but just for that face he was gonna try it even if I had to sit on him to make it happen! Aahaha! Being that he's now 21 that's not as easy as it used to be...but I have my ways!! :evilgrin ;-)
It's like 1:30am so I better get in bed...Hubby is gonna wonder where I am!! Aahaha ... Nah...he'll just assume I went to snack on some cheesecake ;)
Talk to ya soon! Have a great night it was nice to meet you!!! :flower
