Its sweet very sweet yet very fragrant. What people like the most may be the fragrant aroma it brings. If you go to Asian grocery store please make sure its ripened yellow jack fruit which is yellow and sweet not young jackfruit which is white, and bland pretty popular among Vegan they use the young jackfruit as meat substitute.
