So tasty! I used egg roll wrappers and it still turned out great! I sauteed the meat first with carrots, mushrooms and onions, and served it with a soy sauce-based dip with green onions. So excellent 😍

I used mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese sauce with the chicken, so my ingredients differed, but I used your technique. Excellent and time-saving recipe. Less mess, easy to put together and exceptionally tasty : )

Toasting the rice first and using stock makes all the difference. Thank you so much for your recipe! I used turmeric instead and did not have salsa, and this recipe still came out perfectly. This is the second time I've made your recipe, perfect results both times. I generally would mess rice up before, but not anymore! Thank you.

Excellent results! My boyfriend liked these : ) I substituted sweet potatoes, and I didn't have powdered milk so I added a tablespoon of flour with the onions when they were nearly done sautéing, and then 2 tablespoons of soy milk after the flour browned for a few minutes. (Some of the liquid from the milk evaporates and the rest combines with the flour, so if someone wants to try that substitution, just be sure to not add any liquid to the potatoes, or the croquettes won't hold together. Gotta cook it out) I also suggest absorbing some of the excess liquid from the mashed potatoes as well. Thank you for sharing this recipe! 🗻🍠🤗

Good flavor, and I love that I learned shoyu is soy sauce. I used a New York strip and asked the butcher to slice it thin for me. My boyfriend said he thinks beef prepared like this could be used to make a really good sandwich.
